What Svala does

Svala helps you create personal limits for selected apps and websites. It uses Apple Screen Time technologies to monitor selected activity, apply shields, and allow limited intentional unlocks.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing limits that are appropriate for you and for how you use your device. Svala is a self-management tool and is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice.

Permissions and system behavior

Svala depends on iOS permissions, Apple Screen Time APIs, device settings, network availability, and operating system behavior. If permissions are disabled, settings are changed, or system behavior changes, some features may not work as expected.

Optional challenges and rewarded ads

Svala may offer challenges or rewarded ads that grant temporary extra time. Rewards, availability, limits, ad loading, and reward amounts may change. A reward is not guaranteed if an ad fails to load, is closed early, or cannot be verified.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Svala, interfere with the app or website, attempt to bypass technical protections in a way that harms the service, or use Svala for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

Svala, the getsvala.app website, and related names, designs, text, and software are owned by Svala's developer or licensed to the developer. These Terms do not give you ownership of the app, website, or related materials.

Third-party services

Svala relies on Apple platform features and may use third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Your use of Svala is also covered by the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.

Disclaimer

Svala is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Svala's developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, or profits arising from your use of or inability to use Svala.

Changes

We may update these Terms as Svala develops. The latest version will be posted on this website. Continued use of Svala after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
